Welcome to AreeBuy Ghana — your trusted multivendor marketplace in Ghana. By accessing and using our website, mobile application, or services (collectively referred to as the "Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using AreeBuy Ghana, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

To register or use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent/guardian if under 18

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information

  • Use the platform for lawful purposes only

AreeBuy reserves the right to deny or terminate any user account found to be in violation of these terms.

3. Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities that occur under your account.

  • Never share your login details

  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized use

  • You agree that all information you provide is accurate and up-to-date

4. Marketplace Role

AreeBuy Ghana is a multivendor platform. This means:

  • We provide a platform for independent sellers to list, sell, and deliver products to customers.

  • While we vet sellers, AreeBuy does not manufacture or own the products listed.

  • Product descriptions, prices, availability, and delivery timelines are the responsibility of individual vendors.

We strive to maintain quality, but we are not liable for vendor errors, misrepresentation, or defective items. Customers are encouraged to leave reviews to help others shop wisely.

5. Product Listings

Sellers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate descriptions, prices, and images

  • Ensuring product availability

  • Complying with Ghanaian laws regarding product sales and distribution

AreeBuy reserves the right to remove any listing that violates our policies or harms customer trust.

6. Orders and Payments

Customers can place orders by adding items to their cart and checking out using one of our secure payment methods:

  • MTN Mobile Money

  • Vodafone Cash

  • AirtelTigo Money

  • Debit/Credit Card

  • Cash on Delivery (in select locations)

Order Confirmation: You will receive confirmation via email and/or SMS.

Failed Transactions: If a payment fails but money is deducted, kindly contact our support team immediately for assistance.

7. Delivery

Delivery timelines vary by vendor and customer location:

  • Accra & Major Cities: 1–3 working days

  • Other Regions: 3–7 working days

AreeBuy works with trusted courier partners to ensure timely delivery, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by third parties, strikes, or extreme weather.

8. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Customers may cancel an order before it is shipped. Once shipped, return and refund policies apply:

  • You may return an item within 7 days of delivery

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging

  • Some items (e.g., perishables, personal care, final sale items) may not be eligible

  • Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days after return confirmation

9. Vendor Conduct

Vendors must:

  • Fulfill orders promptly and accurately

  • Respond to customer complaints professionally

  • Never sell counterfeit, prohibited, or substandard products

  • Comply with tax and business regulations in Ghana

Violation of these policies may lead to account suspension or removal from AreeBuy.

10. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Engage in fraud, scams, or misrepresentation

  • Post offensive, illegal, or harmful content

  • Infringe on copyrights or intellectual property

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our system

  • Abuse our review or rating system

Violation of these rules may result in a permanent ban from the platform.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on AreeBuy — including text, images, logos, product designs, layout, and code — is the property of AreeBuy Ghana or its content providers.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or reuse content for commercial purposes

  • Use our name, logo, or materials without written permission

12. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for accuracy and reliability, AreeBuy is not liable for:

  • Product defects or damages caused by third-party sellers

  • Delay or non-delivery due to factors beyond our control

  • Loss of data or profits due to misuse of the platform

Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased or as required by Ghanaian law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AreeBuy Ghana, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of the platform

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Violation of any applicable law

14. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. You will be notified via email or platform notice. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be settled under Ghanaian jurisdiction.
